Maintenance of anti-surge control systems is carried out in order to maintain an appropriate level of expensive dynamic equipment protection as well as to ensure an adequate level of energy efficiency of compressor operation. Maintenance of such systems may be provided in the design, plant, operational or regulatory documents, but often the need for it is revealed by operating experience. Maintenance, troubleshooting and elimination of defects are carried out based on manuals developed by manufacturers, normative and technical documentation, as well as on Customer’s comments and wishes.
